MacKenzie | Senior 2016
As I pulled into the parking lot the evening of MacKenzie’s Senior Session, I saw that her entire family accompanied her. Her Mom, Dad, and little sister, Alexus had come to cheer her on for her session. I knew right then and there it was going to be a really fun evening. MacKenzie is such a sweet young lady. You know exactly where she gets it from as soon as you meet her Mom and Dad. They are such a fun and hilarious family. I was so excited to spend the evening with all of them!
I’ve been so thankful all season that we’ve had an early spring this year here in Missouri. I love that all the flowers and trees are in full bloom and the temperatures outside are perfect. We have been planning for MacKenzie’s Senior Session for the past few months. She loves warm weather and all the colors of spring, so the day of her session was exactly what I was hoping for. It was pure perfection! MacKenzie was a dream to work with. She was so relaxed and very go-with-the-flow throughout her entire session. She had a few things that she wanted to incorporate in her session that she held very near and dear to her heart. Some vinyl records, a vintage record player and a box set of her favorite book series Harry Potter. This girl has great taste that is for sure! She also has the most beautiful and infectious smile. I turned to her dad Randy, and said, “You have a beautiful daughter." He would smile and say with so much pride in his voice, “I know!” I could tell every time MacKenzie would make eye contact with her family while I was photographing her because she would smile the biggest smile! It was really sweet to see. You can tell she loves her family very much, and they adore her!
It was truly an honor to photograph MacKenzie in this very special time in her life. Your senior year of high school is something you will always remember, especially getting your senior portraits taken. It was a great evening spent with a great girl. Here are just a few of my favorite images from MacKenzie’s Senior Session. Enjoy and Happy Thursday!
